The Penn State Berks Equestrian Team, founded in 2007, currently consists of 30-40 hunt seat riders. The team is open to riders of any and all levels of skill and experience, even those with no prior experience! The team is coached by Chrystal Wood. Members of the team take lessons once a week at Cedar Valley Stables, located roughly 15 minutes from campus. In addition, brief meetings are held on campus once a week.

Penn State Berks is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), and competes in Zone 3 Region 2 against: Temple, Rider University, Arcadia, Princeton, Bucks County Community College, Delaware Valley College, Franklin and Marshall College.  Riders compete in divisions ranging from walk-trot on up to open fences and flat (3'0 fences).
