Full Care Boarding

Here at Cedar Valley, we pride ourselves in providing a Quality, Full Care Equine Facility.   We like to think of ourselves as an Equestrian Country Club!  We have so many fun things for horse and rider.  Not only do we enjoy our horses, we enjoy our friendships, trails, scavenger hunts, cross country course, parties, horse shows, jumpers, camps, camping out and more!

Large Arena - We have a lighted 200' x 100' sand arena with lots of jumps, caveliti's, barrels, and poles, for you and your horse's enjoyment/schooling.  We also have dressage letters in planters for those of you who like to set up the dressage court and practice your moves.

Pastures - We have rotational grazing fields in the spring, summer, and fall.  We like to separate our geldings from the mares so there should be no nonsense (or attempted hanky panky) between herd mates.  We also turn the horses out everday of the year,  unless the weather is really bad.  We know how important it is for a horse to be outside as much as possible.  Afterall, it is what nature intended for him to be is a free roaming herd animal.

Daily Mucking - We deep clean our stalls every day (with the exception of Christmas Day).  We also scrub our buckets, and fill with clean fresh water on a daily basis.

Personal Tack Lockers - We know how important it is for a person to have their OWN space.  Each horse has their own personal tack locker with room for 2 saddles, pads, all the necessary potions and pampering equipment, blankets, boots etc.  It is a closet any girl would love to call their own!

Lessons - We offer great lesson programs to folks who would like to improve their horsemanship skills in many areas.  Owner Robin Schnader is a CHA Certified Instructor offering basic to intermediate riding instruction for any age.  Robin can also take you on the trails to enjoy your horse as well as nature!   Chrystal Wood teaches our intermediate to advanced students, and is well known for her ability to teach hunters, jumpers and dressage.  Chrystal is nationally ranked in Hunt Seat, Dressage and Western. 

Training -  Training for your horse, or for you and your horse together can be the best of both worlds.  Our experienced trainers can help your unbroke horse move to greater heights, or we can help with problem horses and help them find their way to a happier  more well rounded equine.

Camps -  We offer a variety of camps for you to enjoy, everything from a full week, weekend, or daily if you wish.  One week of overnight camp, or just one night overnight camp, bring your horse if you like, or use one of ours. 

Pony Parties! - Talk about FUN...There is nothing like being a kid and having the coolest party EVER....Your children and their friends can have a blast here at the farm for 2 to 3 hours, learning to ride, having a campfire cookout, playing horse games, and even hiking through the woods on a scavenger hunt.  Check out the FUN link at the top of the page to find out more.

Trail Riding! - Trails are our specialty...We have lots of trails just out our back door.  No worries about trailering somewhere unless you just want a road trip!  Just out our back doors are miles and miles of trails that hook up to the Horseshoe Trail.  We also like to ride by the light of the full moon in the summer and go on moonlight rides.   We also like to trailer out when we can and have fun on day trips or even overnight camping together with our horses.     

Show Team - We like to ride all the time, and that includes showing!  We let the kids pick where they want to go and we organize a plan for summer showing as a team.  Come and join us even if you don't have your own horse, we can provide one that will match your ability and help you learn the ins and outs of showing on our team. 

Horse Shows & Clinics-  Come to show your horse, bring friends or just come to hang out and have some fun...who knows you might learn something new!  We like to try to fill a need in the area for what you might be trying to learn or teach your horse.  Our shows are open to all and we aim to please all riding disciplines with a variety of classes and divisions for young and older.  

Horse Share Program - Maybe you can't afford the costs involved with owning a horse of your own, this is a chance for you to either share a horse with someone else, or just partially lease one to cut down the expense while learning everything that is involved with the responsibility of having your own horse.
